The building finds a relation with the landscape. The curve of the foothill defines the placement and massing of ‘Along’. The visitor center is formed by different volumes that with their location, following the shape of the terrain, define various types of functions.  The internal layout has been planned to allow smooth visitor flow and flexibility. The main entrance to lobby also leads to the exhibition space where opens up to the scenic natural lake.
With an arrangement of wooden piles and beams as foundation, the building is raised creating elevated platform providing different vantage points for visitors to observe the surroundings. The mainstructure is a prefabricated cross-laminated timber panel whereby all wall, floor and roof materials will be pre-cut off-site to reduce construction waste. Inside, the CLT wall panels are left exposed giving guests a warm interior complemented by the natural landscape.
